Our Story
Our journey began on June 9th, 2018.
IMU graduate Emily Yang founded Active Spine Care with a belief in offering holistic care to patients. Our aim is to revolutionize chiropractic care in Malaysia by introducing the 'Active Function Zone' - a rehabilitation and functional activity space accessible to all our patients.
Beginning with just two chiropractors, Active Spine Care has made an impact in the local community. We launched free spinal screening programs at various locations to raise awareness of spine health in the community. We also collaborated with different industry partners to bring more information to the public.
In 2019, our second branch opened in Southkey, a part of our expansion plan to reach a wider community. Since then, Active Spine Care has been able to serve more individuals and help patients achieve optimal spinal health.
Our Mount Austin branch was launched in 2021 to serve the community in the region. The opening of this branch was particularly significant for the Active Spine Care family, as it symbolized the Company's unwavering commitment to serving the community despite the COVID-19 pandemic.
Our flagship clinic, the Eco Galleria branch, was launched in 2022. Our clinics are equipped with advanced technologies to aid patients' recovery, including the innovative Automatic Chirobot. In fact, we are proud to be the pioneering clinic in Malaysia to introduce this groundbreaking technology. We also made our first venture into Kuala Lumpur in 2023 with a brand-new clinic in Cheras.
In 2025, our company expanded into general health with the launch of two GP clinics in Pelangi and Eco Galleria. This marks a significant milestone for our brand by expanding the range of services we provide.
Our philosophy
We believe the best approach to health is taking everything into account holistically. Our patients are our best priority and we are with our patients every step of the way to alleviate pain and to achieve overall wellness. With a normally functioning spine and healthy nervous system, the body is able to heal itself.
All our chiropractors are professionally trained to provide the best care to our patients. We are also supported by a strong team of administrative staff to ensure that all patients enjoy hassle-free appointment booking and other services during their recovery.
